Please would all Mermaid League
players wear their own club insignia.
All Clubs should ensure that their members are aware that they
have been selected to represent the Mermaid League - by
contacting the League Secretary via this web site, or by email
or by telephone. Any place not actively confirmed by 6 p.m. on
12th July will automatically be replaced with one of the
Reserves. Individual members may confirm or the Club may confirm
on their behalf.
May I give a gentle reminder that
ALL clubs - playing or not - should provide a decent
raffle prize and some cakes - to be delivered to Staplecross
Bowls Club before 6 p.m. on 29th July 2010.
I am sorry that only 7 of the 11
Mermaid Clubs managed to nominate at least one member to play.
We have done our best to even out the numbers and to put people
in their preferred playing positions. Equally importantly, we
hope that we have managed to select a winning team this year so
that the Cup can return to us and put the Mermaid League 1 up!
